San Susto..the another pot of gold in AH My gut feeling is GW's main focus is Urocidin. They are playing a very smart game here. (Kudo to them) If they get their way, They will get to control the AH, a proven viable business, with next to nothing and circunvented the poison pill. THey will also get to sell Urocidin and all its potential to themselves in an at-large company. Also they get to benefit from the sale of the VMC and Econiche in the form of SP or dividends.
As long-suffering SH, we will get to benefit along with them except giving up the ultimate full potential of Urocidin. But we also get to end this bad dream.
It is regrttable that we will never see the full investment profit in Urocidin which I am sure is what drove us to buy this stock in the first place. However, if we sell AH as in Graeme's plan, we also would have given up on San Susto, the other "blockbuster".
1.San Susto being a plant extract is much easier to pass regulation for human use.
2.We have the exclusive global rights to it.
3.It does not require a "GMP" plant to make. So the manufacturing and carrying cost is relatively lower.
4. If GW market it right and sel it directly to the public pet market, The potential volume is enormaous.
5. With a sussessful pet use track record, it will make it easier to sageway into the human regulative process. Both the safety and efficacy are already halfway evident.
6. If we are sussessful to get it to human use. The potential is enormous, possibly bigger than Urocidin.
7. With today's fast moving, highly stressful livestyle, the need for a non-habit forming aniety control medication is enormous. All MD are looking for one to help their patients.
8. People are getting more hollistic and natural oriented. They would always prefer a natural herbal "drug" over a chemical "drug".
9. Most importantly, users can buy them directly and does not require third party payer like the health insurances and government health plans to pay, thus eliminating the control or possible discount demands from these agents.
10. In my experience, a lot of good drugs have never make any profit because they fail to be accepted as covered-drug by these agencies for vearious reasons, mostly political and lobbying efforts by their competitors. Look at our track record with Econiche. Do we think Graeme et. al. know how to play that game? So even if Graeme gets his way and we get Urocidin to be approved after a long time and enormous cash investment, how well it cam "sell" is still unknown.
So in conclusion, GW's plan may not get us every potential gain we originally hope for. But we don't necessarily give up "all" of it. If GW handle San Susto correctly, there is still a big payback in waiting. It will most probably also give us a n immediate SP gain and put us back to black for the time being. If we go with Graeme, we give up what could be from San Susto, and place a bet on Urocidin. That bet can be prematurely aborted due to lack of funds, failure of trial results and failure of contracts with the third party payers.
Tha choice is yours. Good luck!
