RE:Stop blaming Berendt....Just to add a few more high level hi-lights demonstrating due diligence, planning and execution since Berendt has taken over in November 2013. This has been accomplished in just over 4 months, not sure about anyone else but I’m feeling pretty good about this guy so far.
- He controlled the AGM once questions started coming, no sugar coating, just facts as he knew them after a couple of days on the job. It was clear that he had done his homework before accepting this role.
- He has no personal attachment to this company other to make it successful, bring Urocidin to market and expand on the MCNA platform.
- Implemented a cost saving review and appears to be making the internal business owners responsible for our money. Including re-negotiation of contracts and loans.
- For the first time that I know of we have a written objectives plan for a FY. The 2014 objectives is our score board, not the past.
- We have a written corporate vision for the future.
If Berendt can continue to knock off his objectives it will be noticed by his peers and the entire community. That can only lead to stability and a rise in our SP. My understanding is that once there is a clear path set by the FDA and HC we will see who’s really interested in this company. Time will tell if Urocidin and MCNA are what we were sold, I am much more comfortable with Berendt behind the wheel. Graeme has 8 million reasons to cheer Berendt along.
