This could turn out very Bad

The actual number of ProMetic shares payable per Telesta common share, will be calculated based on the 5-day volume-weighted average price of ProMetic shares, for the 5 days immediately preceding the date on which the Court ordered plan of arrangement becomes effective if shareholders vote to approve this transaction. If by some chance PLI has 1 or more good NR's, and their SP sore's we are up the creek without a paddle.

You have me confused with someone else.

Well, not really. If you have a $1000 worth of TST today, on the day the shares are converted you will get $1000 worth of PLI. I know what you mean though....the opposite is true as well though, if PLI goes down we get more shares on day they are converted. Personnally I'm going to wait a bit in case there is another offer. After that, I may take half my shares and sell them and buy PLI to ...more

I agree.  That's one of the reasons why I believe this is a weak deal, leaving the door wide open for a sweetened offer before the vote.  I think this is worth at least 3 times more.  At 42c I figure (correct me if I'm wrong) that the current suitor would have printed roughly 45M new shares in spite of 15M.  They already have over 600M outstanding shares, so not that ...more

Nobody is going to pay 3x - the likely 3x payor was IP and then bolted why??? because during the following up meetings with the FDA it was deemed to be bad a business decision from recruiting patients blah blah and potential approval after 5 years...IMHO it's over unless the BOD stands to receive a bigger parachute in exchange for another offer....companies that buyout other companies bring in ...more

How do you really know that shareholders have lost MikePal? they havent said anything more than one or two sentences that another trial will be long and require hard work. 3 years of taking the easy road has not been very rewarding for shareholders. . Then they said that they cant find a partner and are shelving MCNA which more or less means it is worthless. Don't know about you but that is ...more

nearlydone - I know at least 8 other longs that (like me) have invested well into the six figures (at .30 and .40 and even back in the days of 1.50 per share - we have all tried to average down during all the BS PRs and calamity of Adcomm with the belief that min the SP would be .50 if and when sold......it doesn't take an intelligent person to come to the conclusion if there is a second offer ...more

the second  offer if there might be one, isn't going to get me or your group out with a profit. It doesn't have to. It just needs to be more reasonable and reflect the asset value than the easy one they are pitching and no doubt  it has to provide the same get away package that this one does so we can have the opportunity to review and vote on it. for some people every penny is 5 ...more

I agee with you NearlyDone - I sincerely hope that Berendt and Olds don't turn out to be con men - I remember sitting in the room at the AGMs listening to their pitches and explanations - trying to decide if this was a con job or shared a real genuine interest to helping cancer patients and building shareholder value......It would be great to think that accepting this offer carried a hidden ...more

Just as they delivered the timely news for buddies on Aug 2. You can pretty much bet there will be well timed positive PLI announcement devaluing tst even further. "THIS COULD TURN OUT BAD" is an understatement  "THIS IS A FLAMING DISASTER" Try selling at .14 cents. The line s getting longer. Thanks BOD
