Setting stops for TV

Setting stops for TVI've found it's become difficult to decide what stop strategy makes sense for TV, given how volatile it has become and typically on very small daily total monetary volume.

I was usually going with a trailing 10% with some adjustment if the Level 2 bid-vs-ask counts suggested it. This has succeeded roughly two-of-three times and ended up being picked off roughly every third time. Luckily I had cancelled my latest rebuy at 1.55 prior to the two recent news items.

While I mull over the risk of buying back in, what approaches are people taking for stops on TV? Best not to mention trigger-price specifics, just general rules-of-thumb.
