Can't even muster up 1%
After the great quarterly report Tamarack Valley gave you'd think the stock would be up at least 5% today. Energy stocks have really fallen out of favor. I was expecting great stock price increases with reporting season, but it's looking like its not going to happen.

Patience. Summer doldrums. August- September will be the time period for energy companies.

1. Investrors returning from vacation 2. Delta getting under control in US/Europe 3. The rest of the world picking up vaccination efforts 4. Economies slowly opening up 5. Realization the physical market is getting tighter 6. Consolidation in O&G equities, earnings + 1-5 will drive them next leg up

That all sounds logical and thanks, I hope you're right. Energy stocks have been in a slump for about three weeks now and my portfolio sector weighting is heavily invested.

oil up, big crude draws, great earnings, TVE barely up. Maybe Nuttall and the end of July will do the trick.

I sure hope you're right. I've been waiting for Brian Nuttall to appear on Market Call again. He always drives up the prices of a few of his top picks.
