I agree with Swale.Everytime they have added clearwater production the price they paid has added value to the stock.Delta is producing over 18000 bpd.Dont know if TVE gets it or HWX.Maybe CNQ just writes a big check.In their last quarter were bragging about their big land holding in the clearwater.HWX and TVE would have to do a stock cash deal.The way tve has been heid down in stock price looks

@ $55 bbl we're looking at close to a Billion Dollar price tag.........which explains our depressed Stock value.....looks like the WCP acquasition which hasn't been accepted with too much favour....

Will be interesting to see how clearwater consolidation plays out. I don't have much feel for what the selling prices will be for the private companies, so won't know a good deal if I see it. I think HWX is slightly better positioned than TVE to do this (no debt, less depressed stock price). I own both. Like you say, CNQ can do it easier than either of them if they decide they want to

Like you i own both.As far as price goes they wont do it unless it accretive.This is a big pipe dream but if you look at deltas land base it divides into martin hills and eastern nipisi.If the two companies made a joint bid they could split it down the middle.That way they could reduce the competition and get what they want.Nuttall said the reason wcp had to overpay was companies from the us were

Maybe shortsighted on my part but I really hope TVE doesn't buy this comany. More debt, more stock dilution, Wish they would just concentrate on being the FCF machine they have been held out to be, maximize profit and return it to shareholders , wti has been ~ 95+ for 6 months and only 25% of fcf at 55 wti being returned as a dividend . How much further down the road does the shareholder
