Wow bids not even reaching market

Have bought shares without bids not even showing on market. This is being held down . London closed  almost 10% higher than us. Late day drop hoping they will pull down London. If they fail there will a big jump tomorrow. If testing results come in unexectedly early they will burn big time.I guess I'm saying ignore this rescent price drop.

Hi Becker Could you explain a little further what you mean by "bought shares without bids not even showing on the market" Do they not have to show every transaction on their website

Not today but I have made bids let's say bid is at 2.65 and the ask is 2.70 price is at 2.66. I put a bid in for 2.68 and it filled and order was never shown not even on second level and the price asks and bids never changed. these have not been that small 10000 shares plus orders.

You bought stock from an institution that was " dark " it doesn't have to show up as an offer even  though it is there. Could be 500,000 shares offered at .68 for all we know.  TSX and TSXV offer fully hidden orders in the form of non-displayed limit orders and pegged order types (Dark Orders), allowing for the integration of Dark Orders with Canada's deepest ...more

Thus allowing market manipulation done legally. Seemingly no support for price when there is.

London is pushing higher you could have traded yesterday at close at 158-160p inside the publisher spread. Today that's 159p-161p up a penny. Will be interesting if the Canadian sellers keep on hammering the bid. As you said this thing is going to move as that "Arb" will close, one way or another.

I was thinking of the little sideshow, Canada vs. London :)

Different types of market with Canada a much broader retail market than the U.K. in the resources area. But with a distinct Toronto bias against non Canadian gas plays it would appear to an outsider? Odd really when you think that Trinidad is geologically part of the Venezuelan oil patch which is hardly small! Also Toronto is not showing to much affection towards TXP of late? Although that ...more

The ony oil/gas stocks that I have are Canadian listed , but the projects are in other countries since Trudeau and Biden have both destroyed the Canada oil patch=== Nothing but hypocracy with politicos...

I definately agree with you on the retail side, resource plays, certainly in the discovery phase are primarily retail driven in Canada, the Canadian institutions coming in later with funding after the play is derisked somewhat.  That has huge advantages to the retail investor who can act very quickly on news. No question a Canadian retail investor would prefer a NA discovery over one made in ...more

The testing is possibly 6 weeks behind expectations. But that was the previously maxed out testing equipment initially used on the first Cascadura well. This time they need the full picture for production planning and that required much bigger kit as the real question post the NGC gas sales deal is "Do they need one 10 inch pipe, something bigger or a pair of 10 inch pipes?" So when ...more

Yeah, pretty strange, especially since the volume on the LSE is twice the volume on TSX. I was a buyer yesterday.
