Uranium at USD $ 200/LB in the not so distant Future.
Uranium at USD $ 200/LB in the not so distant Future. It is not as crazy as it sounds and of course we all hope this happens. And it likely will. Here is why I am always talking numbers. BIG NUMBERS. More stars in the Universe than every grain of sand on every single beach on the planet earth. These are big numbers.
A lot of money in the world. A LOT. Just take a look at the following that is still happening every day even with the Dow/SP going nuts this week.
These are all facts :
Fancy Kitchen Knives selling for USD $ 24,000 per Sold out for the next 2 years.
Unique Coat Hangers selling for USD $ 2,000 per "
Cruising on private big Yachts selling for USD $ 450,000 PER WEEK
Entry Level Nice watches starting at USD $ 50K and going up to $ 500,000 + per
Custom Khoenig & Bughatti Cars USD $ 1,500,000 per - Each Sold out first 100
First growth Bordeaux Chateau Latour from various great vintages 2000, 2009, 2010 & 2015 selling for close to USD $ 2000 per bottle. Petrus going for up to $ USD 5K per bottle.
Back to Uranium - a pretty small market. And hard for folks with a ton of money to get in. Only about 50 companies seriously in the U game vs hundreds last run. Uranium is needed for power. Basic and boring electrical power. No Uranium no power or at least a very big and significant cut in the world's power grid. And none of the above fancy toys and play things.
Very very few pounds of Uranium traded at the current Spot of $ 24.50/LB will ever end up in a Nuclear Power Plant reactor at that price. Spot Uranium pirce is a myth - fake - not realistic thin little slice.
A Cameco does not make any money at $ 24.50/LB with all in expenses. Bet Kazak's make pennies only at that level as well, with all in expenses. Polluting mess as well over there.
The pent up Uranium sector reaction that will take place very soon is now off the chart. Forget Hoover Dam and the straw thing. The folks that made the big money in the 2004-07 run are just rubbing their hands waiting patiently and watching. Watching the retail folks one by one give up and snapping up fire sale shares.
Who on earth would put up UEX at less than $ 0.10 per share in this environment. And some of the other current fire sale Uranium stocks right now . I just do not get it. Cigar Lake is done in 6 1/2 years now...... I believe Shea Creek alone is well over 125,000,000 LBS if they would just drill it out in all directions. $ 200/LB is not crazy. Can now see the roaring Train and it is bigger and more ominous than predicted.
