RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Some PartyDo you believe DB about Cosala? I dont. I suspect these slimeballs dont have the knowledge to deal suucessfully with the Mexicans. Blasuty is an american accountant who worked for barrick. Probably doesnt have the skillset needed here...just a big ego and not much else. From what ive seen, many companies that succeed in latin america are those who have latinan american executives and can fit in well with the culture....mr Iacono of gran columbia and mr Ganoza of fortuna for example. When i see these people speak it gives me confidence in what they are doing down there becsuse they LIVE there. If you're an outsider its more of a challenge and you're in the crosshairs. Tom Kaplin may be onto something when he urges miners to get out of shady jurisdictions now. Not that mexico is a shady jurisdiction but in some ways it may be heading in that direction especially for those companies seen as outsiders with no real roots there. Look what happened to primero. I was so lucky to get out of there before it caved. And recently we have Centerra. I wasnt invested there but people who are will be in for a rough ride. I bought in big time on Lydian International im 2016. (Great project...would have made a fortune). In 2018 when the mine was nearing completion, the Armenians got some environmental expert to produce a report claiming the project was not in compliance and the site was blocaded until Lydian went bankrupt.Back then i was a little more disciplined...i had a rule...if something pops up that casts doubt on the project i sell immediately. Did that with Lydian and saved a bundle from the drainpipe. Lydian shareholders got wiped out and recently the president of armenia said he foresers the mine restarted soon because armenia needs the money. How brutal is that? Its government theft plain and simple. So imo there is no assurance the cosala blocade will lift soon if ever in time to save USAS. I wouldnt bet the farm on it. Im gonna try and keep to the rules i lived by years ago. Never get attached to a company. It encourages false hope. These are my opinions only. Consult your investment advisor lol
