What you said and November earnings should be a lot better. So....it's a recipe for a much higher share price as we go into December.

If OPEC hints that they might start pumping more oil, I don't see how we wouldn't see the traders taking profits. Both the oil futures and individual stocks have had big runs, lots of paper profit there.

But the basic problem of a shortage of energy of all kinds doesn't look like it will be resolved any time soon, and winter is coming. If there is a pullback, I don't see how it can be sustained. All we need is some other disruption in supply, and the roof could get blown off.

I have trimmed a few shares in some energy stocks lately, simply because I was insanely over-weight in the sector, but I haven't touched a single share of VET, and have no intention of selling any time soon. JMO
