Re: Completely logical this is happening...Post that I shared just now with my friends on Facebook

"Usually, I Just pass on information that I find while keeping abreast of my investments (political and economic). Today I want to share with you a crisis that is in the making. Most of you might be aware that energy prices are spiking. European and Asian countries in the northern hemisphere this winter will have to decide between keeping their manufacturing sectors going or keeping their citizens warm. Here in North America, we will be paying high gas and natural gas prices ($2.00 plus a liter anyone?). However the real pain, the real crisis lays beyond that as over the next year crop yields around the world are set to drop significantly. Why? Because fertilizer costs are going through the roof and farmers particularly in poorer countries will be unable to afford fertilizer. So as our energy costs sky rocket because we are preoccupied with CO2 emissions, we are creating a true man made catastrophe that will have people freezing this winter and people starving next summer. This is so regrettable and was so avoidable! Even if the world wakes up out their "woken stupor" it is going to take 3-5 years to dig ourselves out of this mess we have allowed to be created.

If this prognostication is correct, and believe me, I hope I am wrong, then there will be a lot of tension in the world over energy and food. Wars have been fought over less. Sorry to be such a doomsday prognosticator"
