Croatia DR-4These news wires below are a little old (last month or so and April 13) but provide some indication when we could hear results from DR-4 in Croatia where they spud a well mid june. No new oil and gas exploration technology has been applied in this region and it has been underfunded and unexplored for many years in what is a proven basin. Two more wells are likely this year nearby one very soon. I suspect a lot of potential exists in many of these surrounding countries and it seems they are looking at other licences.
Maybe we hear something before July ends.

ZAGREB (Reuters) - Canada’s Vermilion Energy has begun drilling its first exploration well in Croatia and should have initial results on the presence of oil or gas within five weeks, the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency (AZU) said on Thursday.
(Reuters)- “Although we see evidence of gas charge from the new seismic data we have acquired, we’ll not know for sure whether any of this is commercially producible until after these initial wells are completed,” Bryan Sralla, who heads the unit for central and eastern Europe, told Reuters. He added that would probably be during mid to late July.
