RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Euro NG

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Euro NGHad a bit of a conversation with a greenie the other day about the new Farm Boy polypropylene grocery bags, until I just walked away. They were full on adamant that they were made from recycled wood fibre, and were biodegradable.

Look at them, you see that brown tinge?  Those are wood fibres!  Only use them 3 or 4 times tho, and then replace, cuz they start to weaken with moisture.  Otherwise they are great!

I guess that would have to be judged on how much carbon (co2) Fred and Barney were emitting as they pedalled those stone wheeled carts they were depicted as having. :-)) They were probably burning wood to cook their dinosaur legs so that was not a problem because it's a renewable? You can grow a new one in 30 or 40 years as we will do for our "new" paper grocery bags -- imported from China after being manufactured by Canadian raw logs. It's all under control. :-))
