RE:RE:RE:WEF = WTF

RE:RE:RE:WEF = WTFNot if the conservatives make PP their leader.

The voting public in Canada have already rejected conservatism 3 times and going further right is bound to unite the left and alienate center rights.

October 2025 is a long way away.  If a recession fails to materialize or isn't deep enough to last until then the electorite will not punish these guys.

And the voting public keep voting them in -- either they don't care or they don't have a clue.

I will put my money on the latter.

I live in Ontario. I'm getting the sense that the same thing that happened to the Liberals in Ontario is going to happen to them at the federal level. In Ontario, after an extended run at the provincial level and a switch of leaders, they were effectively wiped out. The Liberals have lost the popular vote in the last two elections. It isn't going to take much of a slide from where they are to be devastated in a first past the post election. They certainly have no opportunity to gain seats in the Prairies and sentiment is turning against them everywhere east of Manitoba. A few percentage points in the vote and they are done for.
