RE:RE:Windfall TaxThis is only happening because of the Russia / Ukraine threat, otherwise, this tax scheme would have never been introduced imho. As someone here stated earlier. They tried a similar scheme in the 80's and that pretty much fell flat on their faces. They see a mass " cash grab " opportunity so why not reach for it. Politics and nothing more. How many E&P companies actually support this?? Here's a far fetched comment by me. What if these E&P companies being that are being targeted suddenly say....screw you. We'll stop all producing everything. I'm not sure if they can actually do that, though. Just venting on my part lol.
