Looking to exit...

Strong rumour they want out of SE Sask.  Looking for a sale or a deal...that would explain the lack of licences and activity.  Stupid idea.  SE Sask if treated carefully is the bread and butter for success.

who would buy them out you think  ? Tundra ? CP ? Whitecap?
Comment by Poise1 on Jan 05, 2021 1:30am
Most likely Whitecap.  They are consolidating many SE Sask assets.  I do know they are also looking at CPG non Bakken assets. Currently CPG has a hold on any minor deals with the privates.  Bottom line Vermillion failed miserably in SE Sask...to proud to take advice from the long standing privates.  Too bad..

Gold old Nuttal. This guys flip flops on picks when it suits him. Just a month ago he 'hated' VET due to its diversification. Probably wanted the price lower to enter. What a bum! This stock is best positioned for the oil recovery. The diversification is what will get the $$$$$$$ with Brent and euro gas prices. Dont forget the premium on the Australian oil! $20+ by Q2 is my guess

Maybe there are better areas for them to expand or they see more value in buying back the stock? They want to grow where the pipeline capacity will be.

Expand in Europe and Australia. That is where we get the premium pricing with Brent and Euro Gas.
