This is getting a little much

Everyday VET and the rest of the oil market drops while oil holds steady or slightly increases . We are at 63.55/bbl and VET is acting. Like we are down in the 50s . I see some serious torque on this after the numbers are released ..... hopefully .

as I the only person who know about their projected higher then budgeted fcf with wti being over 60? Or that even at 2 billion debt they could at 60 be putting close to 500 million against it every year . Debt doesn't seem like that much of a problem. Hell most people take longer then that to  pay off their cars . Debt can't be that scary of a thing managment is focused on eliminating ...more

Not just VET down look at most energy stocks... almost comical with WTI north of 63 and NG at $2.73................... Anyway I should have traded out 2 days ago as planned instead I just added 3k more VET @ $8.32 inner for the winner

Although its usually good to follow your gut Natgas.. I'm sure the last buy at $8.32 will prove to be genious a couple of weeks out.. theres a certain BS'er here that was laughing when I posted an $8.75 target when VET was double digits and now rumour has it he's all " a buy at these level is bonus".. LOL.. what ever you do.. don't follow his "advice".. er I ...more

I guess I'm just less educated everytime I try to make those types of plays I get burnt and end up losing position size.

LOL Im a pipefitter who worked into Construction Management I am far from educated... I fuked this one up big time though.... Was a screaming SELL and I held still up huge but whole market is starting to feel funky to me... I dont like the daily candle forming on WTI either.....

Yes sometimes its like dancing on the edge of a knife.. today seems to be a general washout right accross the board with many sectors.. oil now down over a buck doesn't help.. its a day when I just sit on my hands and ride it out.. although I did sell some G&S stock to buy a tech play.. LOL.. ;-)

Frustrating considering I was calling this past few days anyway live and learn.... To trade the tape and forget emotion... I get attached to some stocks... HBM bought in 7s last month sold north of 10 didnt look back... I keep trying to knife catch VET though... which i know is utterly wrong

Don't feel bad I'm sure we've all done it at one point or another.. it too often happens that we get a one day sell off only to have the market roar back the next day or two.. too much trading on headline news these days... and too many algos pushing trades to extemes IMHO..
