Certainly not going down the drain..

Good result and going back to $ 10 and over .
Next quarter to be much better with the the  commodities all heading in the good direction.
They are going to accelerate the debt repayment and the Market will like that.

Lets not play the sugar game. Results are lacklucter. VET should go up, will go up but anyone who held pre pandemic like me is never getting their money back. It may very well hit $15 by next year. However I was expecting far more debt repayment and teh management compensation is insane. Considering what they stood behind previous with Tony promising and scoffing the div was safe, these people ...more

Lashing, your funny man. Why would we give your opinion any weight? You were the one who paid too much in the first place, and I'm assuming you applied the same rigorous DD then, that you are using to make your predictions now. So thanks but it seems when it comes to Vet your timing is off.

Here we go with the personal insults and nonsense. The company made promises to me and every other shareholder which they broke and which proved to be deceptive. You coming in late thinking you are the smart one, seen it a million times before. When you go broke you disappears and enters the next 24 year old mogul. The cycle never ends with 20/20 genious like you. However you dont have to be a ...more

Yes I can , and unlike you I know never say never. Wise people know not to be so sure of themselves.

Thats your wise line? LOL You are grasping now. Welcome to my ignore list.

I understand lashing's frustration. Someone should be in jail for the deception / lies... I did my research; Google Searched every article out there for months. The dividend was guaranteed by management. Completely safe due to "out of Canada" diversification. I recognize events occur out of everyone's control. Yet all my stocks have come back over the past year; all except ...more

The past was partly a Ponzi scheme as the dividends were being partially paid out of the DRIP. Not unusual, as most of the former energy trusts were doing the same thing . The lure was a higher return than could possibly be paid by other more traditional investments. Warning flags were everywhere and I got caught also. That is all in the past now and has very little to do with the future ...more

I agree Oldnagger... these changes don't happen overnight.. I guess Gord should have looked out a year or so this time last year and dollar cost averaged like most of us did.. would be less painfull for him most likely if he had..??
Comment by Gord_Alberta on Apr 29, 2021 3:05pm
I made money on the DRIP concept with my other dividend holdings; the stock price drop along with the monthly dividends greatly increased the number of shares since last March. The only stock I got burned on was VET. Didn't sell - just on a long wait to get that money back... ;-)
