Victoria Gold Corp. is a Canada-based gold mining company. The Company is engaged in the operation, exploration and acquisition of mineral properties. Cove was IMO the disaster that marked the beginning of the decline in Victoria's fortunes. The deal they got looks pretty good when you consider they get the $8 million up front which covers the $8.5 they spent developing the property. The remainder of the purchase price can be monitized or held, but it is better than a hole in the ground that no longer fits in VIT's future.

 

I assume that much of the selling today is by people who were captivated by the Cove project as many here were. The long 15 month decline in VIT's shares may finally be over, marked by today's sale of Cove.

 

Now we need to get Eagle/Dublin Gulch moving forward as quickly as possible. The Relief and Cove deals are done and I can say that it is a relief to me. Mill should be next and I like the speed with which these deals are happening. Management has obviously been busy working them.
