RE:CEO answers Nickel I recommend you watch the newest VIT video, at 2:01' mark - there are three chutes which are supposed to take the ore crushed by the primary crusher and direct it to the three conveyors feeding the crushing legs downstream (secondary screens, secondary crushers, tertiary screens and tertiary crushers).
At this point in time the crushed ore cannot get to any of the crushing legs accounting for 75% of crushing capacity.
The tertiary screen feed chutes you are mentioning about mean nothing more than a piece of IKEA furniture to me at this point, as they cannot be used for production purposes until many more millions of dollars are spent....
Watch the same video at 1:48' mark and you will see the secondary feed conveyor installed on the side of the secondary/tertiary crushing building. This is what VIT will be using to get the ore flowing to the leach pad at a very low tonnage, but enough to keep their "first gold pour" promise.
The primary crusher can crush at high tonnage, but the secondary/tertiary crushers fed by the secondary feed conveyor have very low capacity when compared to primary crusher. This means stockpiling and re-handling, which equals higher costs...
I am not impressed. Re-visiting 40c/share soon...
