RE:RE:RE:Winter is here. I could be wrong Powerman but if you or I were building anything in the Yukon, we would build it to operate in the fridgid temp. The airport operates, stores operate, delivery of temp. sensitive cargo operates. It,s just the way life is. My home in southern Ontario (NOT TORONTO) is engineered and buit different to perform different then my sisters home in South Carolina. Now I know you are talking about liquids but steam lines and additives do work. I can drive my truck there right now and there wont be an issue, now or in Jan-Mar. If you look at the temps. of Timmins in those months they are almost identical to Whitehorse. Its actually worse in Timmins for the human body as the dampness is just slightly higher. Its better in Calgary at -30 than it is in southern Ont. at -10 for humans feeling it. Just some grub for thought. Timmins doesnt shut down. My dad ran big mining equipment there in open pit 55 years ago and I believe machinery has advanced somewhat since then. He was running Caterpillar just as VIT is now.
