RE:RE:RE:Bye-Bye Coeur 'slam dunk' Hostile Takeover BidOBC--is like a Judas goat with emotive bleating of 30.00 and ton of dough..Myself i will not chase this stock and will buy on a pullback Maybe stock market driven or a trend change in gold..
i bought Integra at one third the price caused by Covid crash on stock market.
Coeur bought 11,067,714 shares not long ago for 13.20.
VanEck added Victoria to GDX 3,100,000 shares with over 2 million already in GDXJ.
Thats almost 8% of float that will trade with inflows and outflows of those Passive ETF's-that purchase the percentage assigned to Victoria for evey dollar in or sell for every dollar out.
The tight share structure could lead to outsized gains or losses on volume created bythose two ETF's.A one mine Company can breakdown or face bottlenech supply disruptions and costs,Fuel costs reagents, cyanide even lime, exploration costs .
Downtime due to mechanical failures.Abrasive ore issues re surfacing and even poor drill results or strip ratio's.there can be mine plan changes ground issues, grade chanes, recovery issues weather ,excessive rain leading to heap leach dilution and using more consumables. and human error.
PUT like this no wonder investors buy ETF's..
.
Am i predicting any of these NO
Miners must be proactivebut the perverse nature of inantimate objects is part of the business There is always problem solving.
