RE:RE:RE:Are the shorts relenting? Our daily share trading average volume is too low, making it too easy to control so it doesn't matter if VG management knows who is playing the stock or not. Case in point, this morning shortly after open there was a 52K block of shares on the bid at $6.16 that never filled because the stock was already trading around 6.25 to 6.30 and the time. There were also quite a few bigger blocks at the bid in the 6.10 to 6.15 range.
Then when the stock reached the 6.39 to 6.40 range, someone magically dumped 52K shares. Coincidence? Not very likely because now that the share price has dropped back down and just below 6.16 I'm not seeing that 52K bid. So essentially the earlier 52K bid was put in to look like there was someone willing to buy 52K shares and hopefully push the shares higher....and they were sucessful and so when the shares eventually hit about 6.39 they happily dumped 52K shares and then probably went short. Playing us retail investors like a fiddle.
Of course someone had to buy those 52K shares and so hopefully that was a larger fund that is looking more long term. In the meantime, expect more fake bids and volatility until the gold price establishes a clear direction above $2,000 US.
