Ya gotta love the market

Explain to me how a $15/oz drop in the price of gold, ie $3.3M of potential profit for the company,  equates to a $31M drop in the value of the company.  ( $.49 * 63M = $31M).

Is it a 10:1 thing?

you are assuming a 1:1 correlation at any moment between POG and VGCX.  Long term, higher POG means higher Victoria value all things remaining the same...So your question is : what is the impact of POG change on Victoria valuaiton. I am quite sure I saw a NPV calculation in one of the presentation : NPV calculated for different POG and CAD/USD exchange rate but can't find it in my ...more

Wow thaks for the info.  I guess there is method to the madness.  Now if I can time the dips in the gold price for the next few months before the next production info release...
