Off topic but maybe on!

The Nordgold/Shandong battle for Cardinal (CDV) wages on and if Nordgold loses will they look at VGCX.

NordGold's only Canadian play is at Pistol Bay NWT, not to far from TMAC's Hope Bay project which Shandong is trying to buy (now subject to a Federal Review board decision). That review likely has come about due to the two Michaels jailed in China and Ms. Meng's extradition here.

NordGold knows how to derisk and build gold mines, the most recent is Gross in east Russia which is a mirror image of Eagle in the Yukon. That mine alone in 12 months will pay for the new Mordashov family yacht "Nord", which arguably is the richest perk in the world and really suitable for closing deals.

Where does Orion fit in, well NordGold's HO is in London as is a major Orion office and I suspect Oskar and his investors have close ties to Moscow.

Lots of balls in the air over Northern Ghana (Cardinal) and perhaps some have floated over to Northern Canada. Far fetched, you betcha but something to think about.

This out of Australia today:

Footnote 1 to the Nordgold Announcement stated that “Cardinal has applied to the Takeovers Panel seeking a review of the Takeovers Panel’s determination in relation to the applications made on 30 October 2020…” Cardinal submits (among other things) that the Nordgold Announcement has resulted in an uninformed market and was designed to signal to the market that the Panel had “conclusively determined that the offers made by Shandong and Nordgold were best and final” and that there was no merit in the Cardinal 04 or Cardinal 05 applications by “deliberately describing the Panel’s decline to conduct proceedings decisions as the Panel determining not to consider the Applications”. Cardinal also submits that the Norgold Announcement was made prior to the Panel publishing its reasons in respect of Cardinal 03 & 04 and Cardinal 05 and at a time in which the Nordgold Undertakings still applied. Cardinal seeks final orders that Nordgold be required to retract the statements made in the Nordgold Announcement and issue a corrective release.

Perhaps your spelling of ridiculous with REDiculous was a Freudian Investment Slip typing red because it relates so heavily to your current position in Victoria Gold in the RED.   LMAO. Wow, your post below was a whole lot of nothing about nothing and stacked on top of nothing related to VG for which this is a chatboard about.  We should call this rediculous/ridiculous. I will ...more

W/evr, given your concerns, I had a look through your posts to see what you actually think is a potential buy. Imagine my surprise to find VGCX on the list. Auau board Sept 11th  Heads up, I never said VG was horrible.  I said if certain things were done better it would have performed much better.  And pointed out some potential pitfalls.  So if something could be a 4 bagger ...more

No I do not own VG stock.  Sold mugh higher then current share price. My AuAu was bought in the 5 cents (US$) range so it is up 400-500% I do no post to all of the boards of the stock I own.    My point to the potential German poster, not you, was to go back and see who posted what about the future of the Eagle mine and had correct calls. If someone says something is a buy back ...more
