CDE : intention to acquire Victoria ?

At the annual meeting on May 10, CDE shareholders will vote for or against the proposal to increase the number of authorized shares from 300M to 600M, while the CEO said last week that CDE was in no rush to sell Victoria's shares. Therefore, I wonder if the management of CDE has really abandoned the intention to acquire Victoria. I think however that a doubling from 300M to 600M would be for the shareholders of CDE a new dilution of catastrophic capital, especially at the current low price of CDE?

I'm not sure that CDE's shareholders will vote against this terrible dilution of capital, because it's not the individual investors who will be determined, and that's a shame!
