(VHI.TO), which provides technology to Health and Human Services providers, and saw its shares rise 2.9% and closer to 52 week high levels in Toronto last Friday, on Monday said its subsidiary, Intouch with Health, made significant progress increasing their market penetration across the UK's National Health Service (NHS) in Q1 2022. There are 140 Acute Trusts in England, and Intouch has at least one module sold into 73 Acute Trusts, or ~52% of total sites. This compares with approximately ~42% install rate across NHS Acute Trusts in the prior year.
NHS outpatient appointments were 97.7 million in Q1 2022 with 5.17 million, or ~56.5% of total outpatient appointments being processed through the Intouch Platform. NHS outpatient attendances were 74.8 million during the period, with 41.85 million or ~55.9% of total outpatient attendances being processed through the Intouch Platform. This compares with 41% of all NHS outpatient attendances during the prior period.
