So given such large fund holding between CPP and all the other funds, is there any chance at all all the funds werent acting in cooperation in this offer? Are they bascially 100% likely to decide the ultimate fate of VII with little voting power for individual investors? Those results for 2020 look pretty solid given all that transpired this year and VII has massive potential as a standalone entity to pay down debt or cancel shares going forward. No way Arc has that kind of potental given their gas weighting and 5% dividends etc. I dont get what CPP/Other funds were thinking. As Retiredeng said, if they werent happy with MGMT just find other people? Why sell the company out from underneath ppl with so much potential being left on the table? Or is this just bad timing? IE, they decided to go ahead with this last year during the crash and waited till year end to announce it? Something doesn't add up imo.
