share buyback is intended to enhance shareholder value, not to support a share price; the cheaper they buy the shares, the better for the longs
I realize this is painful for folks, including myself, but if you believe in VII fundamentals, one way to show it is to buy more shares; after all, this is a stock market, far from perfect valuation mechanism; look at it this way - if we were always fairly valued, we would never be able to buy bargains like this ;)
