Consolidation Opportunitues

Two requirements.
Closure of the Mubby deal and a share price at or above $5.

What we have seen over the last two years have been progressive  consolidation opportunities in the Gulf of Thailand that have not yet run their full course.

This is also the case in Malaysia.

So there are still many opportunities for equity consolidation and other forms of M &A remaining in the Gulf of Thailand and broader SE Asia Region.

But first administrative closure of Mubby #1 which will accelerate the  operational consolidation with Wassy

That should easily move us through the $5 level.

At $5 share price, just a 20 m equity raise gets us $100 million in additiinal cash.
That opens up many avenues.

Lets not forget .
We have seen Turkey hitch us all the way up to the stratosphere .
Betcha there isn't a single shareholder who would not love to see our Turkey fly again..

I have to say that I am a big fan of Thrace, especially the long term 'green' future it gives the company and the ESG leaning. We cannot ignore that in today's crazy world market. However, I am not for dilution to fund Thrace, let's get a partner with deep pockets to do the job for VLE, if you can't bring someone to fund a gas field in Europe,  with over 100M already spent ...more

Dilution to fund Thrace was not my intent as to the putative equity raise. What that $100 million could mean is to buy some of the small bits and pieces Currently owned by various minor partners in the Gulf of Thailand who may wish to monetize. $10 million cash could, say, get 1500- 2000 bpd of production. Spin that out into NewCo and give NewCo the Thrace assets to seek development ...more

I hear you, but  VLE did not dilute to acquire KE or Mubadala assets, and it was in a far worse cash position, with no production that when this deal closes if about 120m+ at close turns out to be the case, that was about 25,000bpd. So how would acquisition of an extra 2,000bpd by 20M share dilution be justified. I will rest my case, let's watch SG, he has already indicated where he leans ...more

VLE's SPV will have 5 to 6 months of cash and receivables backlog coming immediately when the deal is closed assuming it will be soon.   Estimating US$140+ million on closing.  How much of that will be cash depends on the receivables.

It will take at least that long…..5 to 6 months to sort out this deal & get a clear picture what VLE bought. I only hope that there are no ‘skeletons in the closet’ emerging there. I also hope since this is a mature property that VLE will have a chance to implement some new technologies like polymer flooding (chemical), re-completions using new methods/high volume pumps or re-drilling of old ...more

Gazprom is the worlds largest and most profitable gas producer woth approx USD 100B 2022 profit and can easily handle it. RU had 2022 budget surplus 240B. Turkey is focusing offshore where there is 50  yrs of gas plus the new gas hub for Euros and wil even sink Greek ships and sboot down aircraft to defend it.  Onshore is dead. So many things to go wrong VLE has never closed or ...more

Palang and Mitsui Thailand have about 4000 bpd in their bits and pieces . Mjtsui is too big to bother about its 2500 bpd in 3-5% pieces . Palang is too small to pay its share of E&D expenses which has been mostly absent since 2019. They will be eager sellers to the right buyer. Once the Mubby deal closes, but might be at any time...

LOL!  They closed Wassana in 7 weeks ya bonehead!  Mubadala just a bit longer and the deal will close.  Guidance will be next... and I hope you are short to the hilt when that happens.  This rocket will be so far up yours that it'll be coming out your nose!  What a buffoon!

Haha that was 6 mths ago on childs play and still no cash flow due to delays already.... Was fun to see the massive volatility - one minor glitch and its .80 in no time.

I enjoy the comments from the Mensa members here and then along comes firstworld from the four thirds stupid club. What an idiot, but wait, he still has 7000,000 shares to sell that he bought at 25 cents

2000 bod for 20 m shares ? I did not say that. These bits and pierces of completing to 100% of already owned assets might cost no more than  $10 million , based on Valeura's deal costs todate. Palong is privately owned and might be ready to monetize for cash as they will have to pay cash for their share of development costs of these two blocks. Throw in Thrace, and the spin out could ...more
