Over the years
It's been my experience following this stock that news does tend to leak by approximately one day. Pretty unscientific, but what does today's price action tell you about tomorrow? :-)

Me too. VLE has tons of cash, good cash flow and no debt. Especially right now all energy companies rely on dividends to maintain a fair SP.

history shows that SP dropped after 99% of releases - could be looking at 2.85 tomorrow - or $4
