Oil price 2024

EIA’s 2024 Forecast and U.S. Production

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) lowered its 2024 price forecast for Brent crude to an average of $83 per barrel, a decrease from the previous estimate of $93 per barrel, despite OPEC+’s recent production cut announcement.

All well and good, but neither they nor anyone else has clue 1 as to what the price of oil will be next year or anytime in the future.  Sorry.

....and IF someone would have a clue...he won't tell you. I'm generous and I will share my power to foresee: The price won't stay the same, negative oil price is the floor and moon is the limit.

Yeah sure that helps a lot  ... One thing that's fairly evident is the recent bottom just under $70 for crude.  Next leg appears to be range bound between $70 and $80.  It seems that oil is heading higher for the short term.  Even with the latest news of reduced exports, higher production and increased inventory, oil price is defying logic.
