if all was good he would have waited for his replacement - maybe his wife gave him an ultimatum but unlikely 

I am long 
the company has done a tremendous job reducing debt, buying back shares, getting into other markets
I saw VNP as an acquistion target for chemical company wanting to either get into new markets or having a supplier outside of Asia
the share price is perhaps telling you something (yes most jr names are in a severe correction with no buyers and tax loss selling)
but typically when a key exectuive departs there is bad news to follow
lets hope not as otherwise it is a steal
