RE:RE:OPEC News

RE:RE:OPEC News@Dogsbreakfast4U: I don't think there's a conspiracy going on. UAE significantly increased it's spare capacity over the years and they want to beging to pump at higher volumes. I think the biggest sticking point for the UAE is that the Saudis have made a proposal to extend the cuts in crude production to the end of 2022 when it was originally suppose to expire in April 2022. UAE wants consideration for themselves to grow production based on a different baseline than was negotiated last April.

Dogsbreakfast4U wrote:  I wonder if the Chinese or the USA are behind the sudden belligerence of the UAE within the OPEC Alliance. We know that both superpowers want to derail OPEC + and get their hands on cheap oil.

Javier Blas:

"The OPEC+ meeting has ended without a deal after the UAE rejected a Saudi-Russia proposal, which was backed by every other country inside the oil group. More talks are now scheduled for Monday, July 5, starting at 3pm Vienna time | #OOTT #UAE #SaudiArabia #Russia"
