RE:Not much recession talk anymoreYes, the party may go on a while longer. You know the old saying: "Economists have predicted 9 out of the last 5 recessions". But there's certainly a few IED's out there. Italy could blow up spectacularly. Government, corporate and consumer debt is at record levels. China/US trade, Brexit, interest rates, rollover of junk debt at higher rates.
Read some of what David Rosenberg has to say. I think a recession in the next 12-18 months is inevitable. Germany barely avoided one. Write that down and then, when it doesn't happen until much later, you can throw it back in my face!
