RE:RE:RE:RE:World Health Organization mandate

RE:RE:RE:RE:World Health Organization mandateThere are some disturbing issues that need to be addressed with WHO.  My concern would be that withholding funding in the middle of a pandemic response may not be a great idea, although I grant you that it is certainly the best way to maximize attention (and that is one thing Donald Trump is good at).  There certainly needs to be a global organization addressing these issues, and more needs to be done on the political front such as changing risky regional practices like wet markets.

Been following CV-19 for a while and really believe WHO botched it up and on purpose.
Was very glad to see Trump withhold funding. In the end I think they will continue to fund however maybe at a lot less. AFAIC we pay way too much for this little country and should focus on our health care and not WHO.
As for what you said, no I am not for it, but increased pandemics will become more normal. This could be due to the destruction of animal(s) territory that we keep destroying for agriculture and living purposes. Could be a result of increased population due to pandemic closures of economies and evolutions of viruses. WTF knows. But one thing I believe is organizations such as IMF and WHO need their butts kicked and kicked good and hard.
