RE:NICE: LC Interest DROPPED By The FULL 150 Basis Points !!!

RE:NICE: LC Interest DROPPED By The FULL 150 Basis Points !!!The big Canadian banks did not pass along all of the interest rate cuts on their mortgage lending.  What they have done is improve profitability and reduced risk (owing to upcoming increased defaults) by widening their profit spread.  This is despite the government of Canada explicitly stating that interest rate cuts (and a lower cost of capital for banks, capital which is also more readily available to them) are designed to help borrowers.

One of the BETTER Big 5 !!!

So they did PASS ALONG ALL the interest rate cuts by the BoC !!!

Some people in these BBs were saying that some banks were NOT passing along the interest rate cuts !!!

This is first hand account personal observation.
