Central Banks Digital Currency (CBDC)

One of the benefit of the magic virus for central bankers and govenrments is the acceleration of their plan to institute a CBDC which will afford them increased control of the population. In Canada the Central Bank indicates that they will consider issuing such currency in one of two scenarios, one of them being if:

"the use of bank notes were to continue to decline to a point where Canadians no longer had the option of using them for a wide range of transactions".

Funny how the magic virus has been and continues to be useful in that regard.
