Short interest in CPG (and other O&G stocks)

The short interest in CPG remains high and has increased over the last two weeks for which data is available. As of June 6th, CPG had over 23 million shares shorted (as a percentage of its float, the short interest in CPG is among the highest in the energy sector). These shorts will eventually need to cover. I anticipate that the short interest in CPG will serve as another catalyst for above average performance for this company, versus the sector index, going forward as an eventual short squeeze will have a disproporinately positive impact on CPG.
