Seems you and Banshee have a difference of opinion and perspective. No you have never defended Government workers but since your idol has expanded the number of government workers exponentially , probably to support and accommodate those millions he imports into this country , an idol so l will assume you support those efforts , what to buy grateful votes.Really Trudy would never do that , now would he.Admitting you live on the Island really does answer many questions l had about you, so thanks. I too have only registered accounts and once did own a sailboat in another life 24 years ago and was a Vice Commodore Docks and Grounds at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club.Oh good old days but come and gone.Your holdings inthe O and G sector and pipelines are somewhat of a conundrum as your previous attacks on both Alberta and the Sands would seem to say something other than support for the Patch. But perhaps that's your BC , PC dislike for Alberta , seems to be symptomatic of the second most obstructionist province behind those sophisticated  superiors in the province , you know situated in-between Ontario and the Maritimes. One thing l will say , you have always been scrupulously honest in your posts and while even you must admit l have treated you with a degree of respect that l don't accord many Libtards , in your case that has never been reciprocal. But that's natural of a left-winger and l will say a Marxist

Noble! when did I ever attacked the oil sands? (made a lot of money with them over the years) What I do react to is the notion that electric cars are a communist plot....that Trudeau is singlehandly "killing" the oil industry when it has done nothing but expand over the last 9 years??? What do you care if people in Quebec are "obstructionists"....they don't matter....AB ...more

Yeah you tell a good story as it is your forte and yes all Albertans are rednecks and braindead. Your facts are pure BS and if the big one ever happens , get it the San Andreas fault , pls don't go running to Alberta to save and support your sorry AZZ , just accept it.

I never called Albertans braindead.....I'm just amazed they don't seem to understand how their biggest industry, source of wealth and high paying jobs.....actually work in the real world!!! They keep saying they are all about the free market. The oil market is the epitome of "free markets".... Under WTO and USMCA rules trade in crude oil CANNOT be restricted between nations ...more

Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline: 4,857km Druzhba Pipeline: 4,000km Keystone Pipeline: 3,456km Kazakhstan-China Pipeline: 2,798km

The cancelled energy east line would have been 4700km.  70% of which  is existing pipeline.   You assertion that its shipping costs would cancel out any profit it stupid.  If it was a completely new line, sure, but stop misrepresenting facts.  I'm positive oil executives in Alberta know more about these issues than some fool from Vancouver island.

The "oil executives in Alberta" were desperate....the Mainline was running half full and losing money. The new strectch of pipeline would have been almost double the length of TMX...the tolls on TMX are 11 bucks a barrel. All the new pumping stations required on the old line would have come at a cost as well. The Mainline running half full backed up gas in AB and the price of gas crashed ...more

Just more misrepresenting of facts.  The line was to be converted from gas to oil.  It was cancelled because the cost of building a pipeline in this country cost double what the same length would cost in the USA.  All due to these libtards constantly moving the goalposts on regulatory requirements.  Not to mention our brothers and sisters in Quebec, son flat out, no new ...more

Here's and idea.  Instead of selling gas dirt cheap out east, let's build LNG infrastructure to capture world prices.  Wow that's and idea.   Even you can't argue against that logic.  Energy east conversion would have solved oil bottleneck problem, MORE LNG infrastructure solves the gas price problem, Canada gets more customers for oil and gas. I don't ...more

Once we get rid of that twit for good, new pipelines will be built, new conversion plants will be built, Trudys tanker bans will be toast, the oil sands will be allowed to mine some oil,  we wont be told we have to own EVs by 2035 or else, and protests will be allowed of course, but they can go and stand out of the way and wave their stupid signs around and sing Kuumbaya and let some real men ...more

Now THAT Would BE NICE to Have Gas @ 30 Cents a Litre !!! That would BE $1.362 per Imperial Gallon I STILL Remember that gas WAS Only 41.9 CENTS per Gallon WAY Back when SELF SERVES Showed Up in the EARLY 70's

MCRA: Make Canada Rich Again. What a novel idea. With our massive majority in Ottawa we may just be able to open the door to this idea and screw what the daisy sniffers think for a change.

Congratulations! You have all the easy answers. How realistic they are is debatable however. ...."proposed ten years ago"??? it's longer than that....and the first export terminal is due to start up in 2025. LNG Canada, the consortium led by Shell, took SEVEN YEARS to line up customers and financing before making a FID....and it took another SEVEN YEARS to build the plant and the ...more

For a start we need governments that look for a reason to sell our natural resources to a world that needs them more than ever with people like Putin running around, rather than look for excuses to leave our O/G and vast untapped mineral resources in the ground with their endless bereaucracy and red tape and idiots like Trudy and Guilbeault/Freeland that wouldn't know a business deal if it ...more

Your right.  They were easy answers before libtards literally made these projects impossible due to red tape no other nation on earth faces.  So yes your right, project costs skyrocket,  because of your friends, the libtards    im eager for the next election.  These left wing nuts have put the oil and gas industry behind by almost 10 years.   In the name on eco ...more
