Next update is due to be reported  in a week or two. This could be the catalyst to move this stock significantly.

Based on field estimates, Vero averaged over 2,350 (68% liquids) boe/d for the first week in August with a significant number of wells expected to be brought on and added to that production shortly.Vero has significant strength and flexibility in its capital program with cash flow and the existing credit facility. The Company looks forward to providing its shareholders with a third quarter operational update in the second half of September.

I wonder if management will still be giving the Sept. drilling update. Any increase in daily production over 2,200 makes Vero more valuable and the metrics of the Deal look worse from VRO shareholder's standpoint. Its still 2 months until the close of the proposed transaction and I am hoping someone will come in with a better offer which TORC will have to match..
