Buy Time

Time to buy this hairy bird, she has fallen too far. I shorted from $300 to $60, now time to go long. Company has good brands and the real debt does not come due till 2021. Buy when there is blood on the streets! GLTA

There we go!  A fellow shorter has spoken! And I agree! Nice to see there are some honest traders out there!   Brokerage or retail?  I'm asking because I'm trying to find who all the 2bit traders scammers are....  LOL And novices!  Don't follow me.  Follow winnie!    I didn't short VRX at $300 but I would have. I find it less ...more

ProTrade - How does one follow another poster on SH and what happens when you do follow? Apologies to all who already know this stuff. Cheers.

Followers = dumb sheeps.  So I can't answer that.  Well, not with the answer you are looking for. I could be a wolf in sheep skin for example.  Except for the guys that know me personally, nobody else here knows. I could be working for a hedge fund.  I say I'm a retail trader with years of experience but maybe I work for some large hedge funds and a pro social media ...more

hi ProTrading: I was merely asking how one can follow another poster. I did not necessarily have you in mind. Also, it would just be one way to be aware of interesting plays some active traders are looking at and then investigate further. thanks

If you click on a users name you can see their most recent posts...so you can get an idea of where they are posting...some people list stocks they follow as well... That is all I know of...

Thanks for responding. I note you have 1 follower and 6 friends. I don't know how you get either or what it does for you or them. Cheers.

Wow this is all news to me. I have zero friends on here. Must be a one way relationship!

Good point, the way we follow guys (good, bad and ugly) is pull up this URL and replace the member ID at the end.  Available without an account if you know the URL prefix. So looking at the following, pretty easy to assume this is a retail investor trying to navigate the shark infested waters and being honest about it. https://www.stockhouse.com/members/bullboard-post-history/adamchess

Ditto adam. One of my buds tells me that SH sends out emails with the "top bulboards".   That's we track pumps and bashes for the trades and longer term positions. For now he forwards me the email, I still have to figure out how to get on those mailing lists!

Brokerage.  I'm a portfolio manager.  Been doing this for 22 years.  This long in the biz you can get a sense of things  GLTA

I never trust poster's comments when they state a trade days after they claim they did. It's almost as if they want to see the outcome before hand .lol Winniepup, you joined Nov 27, made no reference to your incredible trade until today, but posted about 55 times about "FM" since Jan 14. It's not as if you are too shy to post.
Comment by Winniepup21 on Mar 22, 2016 7:11pm
Yeah and your point is?   I'm not asking you to trust me I don't care who listens to me.  I just post it how it is.   The strait goods.  If you think your an investor because you "trust" people on stockhouse you might as well go stick your money in the bank because you'll be safe there and get a better return.   Rookies always show up late to the game ...more

Good luck with that.   "VRX biz model was based on leverage and financial engineering..."  Might as well go to the casino and bet your life savings...

"Guy who quotes something without reference is a clown".  "Guys here providing good luck messages without declaring positions are shorts, paid bashers or ...."  LOL ;-)

Wow!   Here's another Johnson quoting another Johnson (Bill Gross).  Listen folks do your own due diligence.   If I listened to every commentator or "expert analyst" in the business then I wouldn't be in this business for over 20 years.   GLTA
