Results are Out...

Don't understand this company.  They seem to have a sustainable dividend, good production and reserves, share buyback program, and they're paying down their debt. They beat EPS estimates ...more

Earnings

EPS of .49 vs .31 expected. Looks like debt reduced 450 million from last year. Debt 1.38 billion now from 1.83 or so last year. PE ~5! That is how you smoke it out of the park! Let's go!

Shorters likely locking in some profit before a report. I guess they figure its been resistant to take more of a pounding , so profit time. Unfortunately these CDN E&P's are very easy to short ...more

My bets are no dividend increases on the table. Pay down debt and buy back shares. Any word on the Cra Audit? Dividend payers don't seem to be getting rewarded in this market.
