Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. RE:RE:Another smokescreen?I botched the numbers a bit on the first go, here's the up to date numbers including yesterdays purchases. CEO bought $314313 which at 3.5M salary means he used 11% of his pay to buy shares publicly. CFO bought $410706 with a salary of 2M, so roughly 20% of salary. I find the CFO to be the best sign since they are so close to the financials, they are accountants and can see when there is value and improving fundamentals, and they make less money than the ceo so when they are investing heavily you know its a good sign. Also they are typically more frugal or cautious with their money, compared to CEO's. So when they are investing huge like yesterday (200K), its a good sign.
