RE:RE:CIBC NotesAgree Citizen, but I don't think it has ever been about making it a better world. Prior to 2015 we were making very good strides towards equality. All places I worked at hired based on skill, accomishments & credentials. Now none of that matters. Resumes & applications are sorted into three piles. Indigenous, visible minority, no -visible minority/undisclosed. Experience, skill and credentials are all secondary. Managers now need to justify why they are not hiring from first two piles. When lack of experience/credentials given as reason, it's countered with hire from the other piles and 'we'll' work with them to bring up to speed or obtain qualifications after hiring. Of course the people saying this aren't the ones who actually "work with them" or ever held to account. Instead it's embedded Ina performance metric the manager is held to, and becomes their problem. Experienced managers either quit or seek work elsewhere as they know they will be held to account for failed department performance and complaints. The cancer that started with making incompetent under qualified as leaders is spreading throughout all public sector divisions/departments. At some point people will come to the realization it has all been by design. When people finally get upset enough, they will beg for corporations to take over govt and public offices/departments. When this occurs, implementation of a new fascist/corporate order will be complete in Canada. Socisl progressivism is the tool being used. Majority are fooled.
