RE:RE:Oils and CapsulesThe markets in Brazil are strictly for the pros IMO. My wife who is Brazilian invests mainly in goverment Bonds where you can get inflation plus a good marging of return. As a foreigner though you would be exposed also to currency fluctuations. The very large big companies like Vale, Itau, Bradesco and Petrobras have depository receipts and are quoted on the New York SE or Nasdaq.
Political risk is very high with left still a real force. Who knows where it could all end up in light of what's happening in Venezuela
If you want a punt there ate varoious ETFs such a iShares MSCI TSE:XBX.
