You do know that those are unrealized gains until you sell, right?
I'm just trying to find the actual facts regarding the crop loss. Nobody on here seems to know anything. All we have for sure is a really vague press release from CPG, some photos and a lot of speculation.
With that information we know:
- The crop loss did happen (as confirmed by the PR)
- Canopy provided ZERO information (other than "trust us")
- There re are photos of dead plants
If the plants were destroyed (as CGC claims) why did they slowly kill them till they turned brown? That would be ridiculous. So it looks like they died for other reasons.
There are claims of previous crop losses at the same facility. This appears to be a systemic issue, which goes beyond a single crop that was killed on purpose. I already sold my shares. I used to love this company but obviously they have some serious problems.
