RE:The US government has beenAgreed geo, the problem is not easy to solve but is necessary to solve and control or countries are lost as whole from there on and is the real life consequence we have seen in treal time stateside...ever since Biden/ Obama figured they were near angelic and would take control of the situation and as you can see the results are nothing but failure that they can not control, of which will only follow this path of failure to complete ruin and little chance of ever reversing the failure, and less of chance any hope for the future. One can see this result today in the US...if they are successful there may never be a chance for N Americans to ever get back to where we are now, let alone have any hope of realizing what we are throwing away today, maybe ever again?
This reality is crystal now, with what they have allowed to happen at the US/ Mexico border so far since taking office is out of their control now and they will never turn it around and soon it may not be possible for any group of adults, even patriots with the best interest of the US at heart may not be able to regain enough control from here now?
Have a serious look at the Davos crowd, the 'tail intending to wag the dog' gang and you can see there is absolutely no hope there for anything but some failed ' space ship to no where' insanity as they watch their jets used for planters or just target practice? The 'elite' all right, legends in their own minds!!
Now the reality is the folks are going to take back NA, starting with the US and they are just starting to put that together now and while fragmented a bit yet to start, there is plenty of depth there and will be starting to turn the corner with the next elections over the next 2years....they will drag a corrected Davos crowd along with as well. This process will return democracy and the rule of law, stronger than ever...and they will need a solid, healthy and legal cannabis industry, along with the liquor, beer and wine outlets...these vices, choices need to be available to a healthy society but managed and maintained like it is today for most all of NA.
Alcohol and bud et al are necessary but need to be controlled and managed by elected officials/ representatives...lawless sales of uninspected, illegal bud and spirits we know does not work as we have proved already and needs to continue to be the law of the land, if we wish to survive as a species and continue be successful going forward. Unless or until we get our collective shite together and quit allowing the weak and tiny minded, self serving to call the shots and take control, the folks will be taking back the power and control and move forward, stronger and better than ever.
We will need Canopy and others to get up to speed and producing product to meet the demand, without any material impact on the legal, inspected, QC managed operations...Canopy won't be able to handle it all themselves, there will be enough top shelf producers to manage demand. Because the criminal element needs to be of the fringe and powerless, no where near the bullshite we are seeing today....and it is starting to correct already, the folks have seen more than enough now and this worm is starting to turn. Everyone needs to do their DD and buy, sell or hold accordingly, but NA is not for sale to the crud or anyone else now and never will be. JMHO...Opt

I was in hospital once with a Canadian navy guy that was on his last legs. He told me about being recruited as special ops to run munitions up the Mekong and bring Heroin back out. They had to have somebody other than Americans in case they got caught. I beleived him because he had no reason to lie to me and it was almost like he wanted to get something off his chest before he passed.
I still see potential for the Cartels to grow and sell marijuana to legally registered and monitored US and other companies by upscaling their operations to meet safer standards and doing it in 3rd world tropical countries.
All of this greenhouse building, heating and lighting to grow an adequate supply in colder climates is going to implode under it's own expenses when you get free sun, labour and heat closer to the equator. Upper North American pot can't compete with $15 minimum wage.
There is a niche for strain splicers and such to keep doing that in controlled greenehouses as the exploration of the benefits for health problems gets traction.
For the most part, consumers have been happy with cartel weed and it is just one more importation law that needs to be built into the system to expedite what is already happening.
Don't forget that cops and robbers, narcs and dealers is all industry filling a need for a product the consumer wants.
I have mentioned before that I think the Cartels and bad guys would give up the value added weed skus that require bricks and mortar, operating capital and some IP and recipes. Too much trouble and too much like work.
As mentioned before they have positioned for smaller chemical drug business like fentanyl, heroin and coke which is real money, market and easier for them.
Cartels and black market players have raised the stakes beyond the committment level of joe average politician which is why they are dragging anchor.
The US can bring in some muscle to get them to give up on the pot which would be a dry run for later when the addictive, hardcore drugs need to be curbed.
I believe it is Portugal that has fully accepted drug users as patients needing help and in some places in Canada you can trade in your street drugs for safer, pharmasafe quality. Cuts down on the
Narcan costs which are huge if you can get these addicts to shoot up in a safe place.
Transformation to a legal pot industry needs some serious political will but is totally doable so the bad guys can be included to keep them happy so they don't get itchy trigger fingers.
It isn't easy to transform an industry that is working for the most part, although the profitability is an issue due to oversupply and competition.
If the US does the work to decriminalize and support fully, the US greenrush potential and the pharma potential, this is doable but might need a new 3rd party up the middle to break the stalemate of stubborness that is prevalent in US politics now.
