Again this in an option, filing at the SEC is a required step to become an option. There may be more reasons to go ahead regardless of how far above 1.00 US the stock goes. For example, day traders/retail will find it more expensive to play as each sell move is a bigger one. Fewer shares will also make it harder to short as there will be fewer shares in the float. So maybe a good way to set up the mother of all squeezes in a very volatile sector with some greedy funds playing game. Remember, STZ are by no means inexperienced.
