Klein has suggested that it is going to happen and they aren't waiting for legalization or decriminalization.
They did manage to do the Acreage deal though so where there is a will there is a way!
Running around with hockey bags full of cash is so cartel but I guess they could pull off a stock certificate transfer/swap to cinch the deal and that would be a huge positive for commonshareholders of Canopy and Acreage.
That and some clear indication that they aren't going to pursue the consolidation!
I can only see one beneficiary of the proposed consolidation and it won't be Canopy or Acreage shareholders.
